I am fascinated by automation in general and the robotic laboratory automation of microfluidics in particular. I believe that robots will change the way we do science. In the Abate Lab, I am working on an innovative microfluidic-based platform for the formation of (micro-) tissues produced with unprecedented precision and scale.
